Anti-Natal Care, Post-Natal Care and Child Health
Out antenatal and postnatal care is provided by our community midwives with the support of our doctors. Midwife Clinics are on a Thursday afternoon.
6 week checks are provided by our GPs whilst baby immunisations are carried out in our Wednesday morning clinic by our nursing team.

Influenza Vaccinations are provided to all patients aged over 65 and those in ‘at risk groups’ which are held September – January.
Pneumococcal Vaccinations are provided to all patients aged over 65 and those in at risk groups
Shingles Vaccinations to Patients aged 70 (on September 1st, 2013)
Tetanus Vaccinations are provided to all patients who require it according to current clinical guidelines
Hepatitis B Vaccinations are provided to ‘at risk’ groups
Travel Vaccinations – Please contact us at least 8 weeks before you travel. There may be a charge for some vaccination.
HPV vaccinations for girls aged 12-13 years (which reduces the risk of cervical cancer.
The practice carries out minor operations such as the removal of minor skin lesions and joint injections. You will usually be referred to this clinic by a GP.
Appointments can be made with either of our nurses for cervical smears.
The practice offers a full range of clinics to help patients who have conditions such as heart disease, asthma, COPD, epilepsy, diabetes, strokes etc. We work with our extended Primary Care Team and Secondary Care to help you manage your conditions and minimise their effect on your everyday life.
