At your next visit to our surgery, you will be given the opportunity to complete a small slip and leave either at reception or post in the comments box within reception or complete a text survey, if we have your permission. The slip has a single question along with a space to write any comments in relation to the response you made: the question is being asked across the whole of the NHS and is called the ‘Friends and Family Test’.
The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the services that provide your care and treatment. Your feedback will help both ourselves and NHS England to improve services for everyone.
The question is “How likely are you to recommend our service to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?”
You will be invited to respond to the question by choosing one of six options, ranging from “extremely likely” to “extremely unlikely”.
You will also have the opportunity to explain why you have given your answer, so please answer any follow-up questions.
We really appreciate you taking the time to complete the slip and provide us with feedback. If you visit the practice regularly, you may be asked on a number of occasions. You can complete one each time you visit if you wish but there is no obligation to complete a questionnaire if you do not wish to. Your comments are anonymous.
The latest results from the FFT for the practice will be published on the NHS Choices website – you can see this by clicking here.
We do read all of your comments and try to act on them as best as we can. To look at the latest themes and how we are trying to improve, click here.
